The Royal Enfield Classic 650 is a retro-styled motorcycle that is based on the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650. The bike is available in three variants and four colours: Bruntingthorpe Blue, Vallam Red, Teal, and Black Chrome.


The design stays true to its classic retro styling, featuring a round LED headlight, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, and curved fenders. Additionally, there’s a generous amount of chrome used all around.


It is powered by a 648cc, parallel-twin, air/oil-cooled engine that does duty on its siblings. It produces 46.3bhp and 52.3Nm and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.


In terms of features, the bike gets an LED headlamp and tail lamp, adjustable levers, USB Type-C charging port, Tripper Navigation, and dual-channel ABS.


Under the bodywork, there’s a steel frame that’s suspended by a telescopic fork and a monoshock. The bike rides on wire-spoke wheels with tube-type tyres, whereas braking is done by a disc brake both at the front and the rear.


The Classic 650 has no rivals at the price point it sits at, except for its platform sibling, the Shotgun 650.
